Aw jeez, I know. Don't try to
rub it in. Things have been very tense lately and I am barely hanging on to
sanity. Not to mention NDK's special run I'm
so generously overseeing. There are still problems with image upload, so you'll
have to go to IGN64 for new screens, but I do have some new movies
up. DK64 is 5 days away and so there will be things going on here majorly in the
near future. Stay tuned. Please.
November 3rd, 1999
Well, it's been half a month
and screens are of no shortage. However, internal troubles have kept us very
much at bay lately and so the screens can not go up. They are, however,
available for you at www.ign64.com,
if you'd care to look. As for the Chronicles screens page: I'm working on it.
Today, there's a few rumors and the letters
page has some really old additions. I'd like to emphasize that, yes, my name is
Andre, but I started the site using my screen name: BILL and just haven't
bothered to change anything.

Sorry to those of you who were
expecting a gargantuan display of information. Today's update is just a nothing
update. Only one piece of news: We have officially affiliated ourselves with Prima
Games. What does all this confusing stuff mean? It means that when DK64
comes out, you guys could have the chance to win DK64 guides! Whoopie! Roll out
the barrel! Anyway, in the next few days there will be monster updates with
screens, info and rumors. So sit tight. But loosten your belt up. You look like
Wayne Knight in '94...

"An update, so
soon?" you whimper in quivering disbelief. Yes, it's true. I have exploited
the Monday off we get here for Thanksgiving and blindly wasted it by updating
the site. At least now you have something to be thankful for. And for our US
readers: you wait till November rolls around. You'll have a lot more than an
update to be thankful for then. For now, feast your eyes on a new site in the links
page and a bit of a rumor in the Rumorzzz. Still more coming. Keep your kettle on...er

I try to get as many updates
in during a week as I can, as you know. Now a days, that would be one. I'm
working on improving that fault. Bare with me and my overcomplicated life.
Anyhoo, today I we've got the skull-splitting FULL DK Rap in the
Screens section, 4 letters in the
appropriate area and a new, re-organized What
We Know that centers more around pure fact. There. Alivederchi, paisanos. I
have no idea what I just said.
October 2nd, 1999 (WE'RE
BACK!)
Still here? GREAT! After
crawling through hell and back as a result of total loss of internet access,
we're finally pulsing again! Thanks to the lot of you that never lost faith and
kept checking back every day for a daily disappointment. We are very sorry that
our internet provider disowned us without warning and will try to prevent this
from ever recurring. So to kick off our return and celebrate the fact that its
only a month and a bit till DK64, we've got the actual legal
story direct from Rare (in their words) and I've done some re-decorating in
the Rumorzz page as well. Also, the Kong family
tree has been turned around a bit. What We Know will be experiencing a firm,
kick in the pants shortly as the previous layout is no longer appropriate. Look
for that soon and be glad you have us bag...er...back...

butter-tarts? No? Good. I'll eat them all, then. Sad? Well how about I share
with you some new FanFics, some new screens,
the story to DK64 and the knowledge that
butter-tarts cause such a river-dance in the stomach
that appendicitis would be like a tingle...

No! Not another update! It's
barely been a week since the last one...well don't get your hosiery
in a knot. Today we've got the Rumorzzz
section sorted out and What we Know also rears
it's morbid head. On top of that, throw in a couple of FanFics
from Devin and a letter in the Letters page,
and you have quite a merry ensemble
cast for some kind of verbal puppet show.

Today, the big technical
update is here as promised. Here we go: I've sacrificed time I normally spend
doing important things to bring you an updated Screens
section with 2 movies and some...er...screens. So there we go, then. Two of
Devin's newest FanFics are standing in line to be added to the Pen & Ink
section, but that won't happen today cause I can't be bothered. Lets all wait
till tomorrow, then, righty?

Don't panic! I'm not here to
delay again! Today I'm offering you all the Banter monkey can buy. A shocking ten
Fan Fics from Devin and 2 letters from
him to keep his fans at bay. Also I've tweaked the bottom of the Rumorzz
page. You DEFINITELY wanna see what I've hidden there. As well as that, some new
additions to What We Know. Tommorrow I'll go
technical and force-feed you all the screens and movies you need. See you then.

Although you aren't likely to
get a scrap today, I'm just here to keep your spirits up with fond promises
that there is a huge update in the works that will materialize
in the next day or two containing undisputable K. Rool proof, a massive bunch of
Devin's Fiction and new screens plus a movie. That ought to get you happier than
Haagen Dazhs, but for now just sit silently in
your corner and wait.

Well, since we're all just
sitting here with nothing to do eagerly awaiting Space World '99, I thought I
just might update the site. Not a bad idea, huh? Today we have a full 3 FanFics
from Devin, the man of the hour, as well as a letter
from the same guy as well. You all could learn a valuable lesson from him! Also
there's a nice new addition to the Rumorzzz
page. This should spark things. I dunno what, but it'll spark it.

After the longest delay ever experienced
by man, we're finally back after giving our server a firm kick in the shin to prevent it
from ever rearing up like this again. What kind of an age are we living in that a monster
update containing two emails from Devin529, a
FanFic from Seth, a new ranking list entry and
a new Fan Art can't be uploaded in peace and
liberty? Hmmf.

Three days since I updated last and not
much has changed. Another email from Devin529 (a
loyalist) and another short FanFic from Seth. I'm still
trying to get you guys to get clicking on our link within the dark tunnels of the 'Top 100 Gaming Sites' and
the Canadian Dollar is still worth less than my lint collection. Life can be so routine...

And I'll have none of that pinch and punch what-not, either. Today there's a new letter at
the bottom of the letters page. Follow the guy's
example and write in, won't you? Also, I've scratched up a small thingie for the Pen & Ink section. Go and see what I find wrong with
the DK universe, eh? Also, please keep voting for us at the 'Top 100 Gaming Sites of all
Time' ranking list. We're currently somewhere in the 20s or 30s. You want us in the
top 5, don't you? So do your part. There. Done. Also there's a new graphic on the front
page...like you didn't know...

thought I'd climb out and give the sack a bit of a churm with two emails for the letters page. Sounds a bit pitiful, doesn't it? Two! Well

After a week's delay in updates because
I was off at the hospital having a small operation to remove my appendix, we return to you
with sincere apologies and several sugar cubes. Today, I've re-organized the 'What We Know' section to make sure it's totally up to date
and a little easier to get around. So there. More updates'll start rolling in more
frequently now. Maybe I'll even change the piccie on the title page too...like normal
people do...

Another two movies of DK64 in glorious
action pop up in the Screens section and finally we have
proof of Rambi the Rhino's appearance in DK64! Also some jetpacking, minecarting, sliding
and boating to excite everyone including me. Also this is proof that miecarts can break
and jump and we're making the assumptions that the yellow DK coins give you life during
mini games. You get hurt, two get knocked off.

A new video of DK64
appears and everyone rejoices. The content of this and some of the recent pics have
sparked some additions to the 'Rumorzzz' section. So go
check 'em out. Like I need to tell you...

Not even one day since our launch and
Rare have already released 7 new screens! Prance on by the Screens
bit to check out the new shots as well as one new movie. (They're the ones with the
white dash next to 'em)

After an incomprehencable amount of time wasted wallowing in our own
self-pity, we finally managed the...large...task of shoving all of this into a big sack
and uploading it onto the net using an FTP program the size of a dust-mite. All this and
we didn't even throw ourselves a party. Well, actually, I did eat a large fudgee-O, now
that you mention it. Anyway, we're up so why not do a little basking in our glory, eh?
